Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') defines permitted and prohibited uses of the Rendara API Generator platform. All users must comply with this policy as a condition of using the Service.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use Rendara for the following purposes:
- Generating REST API code from natural language descriptions
- Rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept development
- Learning API design patterns and best practices
- Deploying generated APIs to production environments
- Security research and penetration testing tools for systems you own or are authorised to test
- Educational and training purposes
- Open-source project development
3. Prohibited Content Generation
You may not use the Service to generate code that:
- Creates or facilitates malware, ransomware, viruses, trojans, worms
- Harvests credentials or personal data without consent
- Conducts DDoS attacks
- Creates phishing pages or impersonation schemes
- Performs unauthorised access to computer systems
- Mines cryptocurrency without end-user consent
- Creates botnets
- Exploits vulnerabilities without authorisation
- Facilitates spam
- Performs credential stuffing or brute-force attacks
- Scrapes data in violation of terms
4. Permitted Security Research
Approved security research activities include:
- Penetration testing for authorised assessments
- CTF challenge solutions
- Security training materials
- Vulnerability scanners for systems you own
All security research must be conducted on systems you own or have explicit written permission to test.
5. Code Generation Restrictions
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Code infringing third-party intellectual property rights
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — reported to law enforcement
- Weapons systems and related technology
- Code facilitating human trafficking or exploitation
- Code violating export controls or sanctions
6. Resource Limits
- Do not circumvent rate limits or abuse the platform's resources
- Do not launch denial-of-service (DoS) attacks against Rendara infrastructure
- Do not make excessive automated API requests outside normal usage patterns
Tier limits: Free tier: 10 generations per month, 1 active deployment. Paid tier limits defined by subscription plan.
7. Reporting Violations
If you discover a violation of this policy or suspect abuse, please report it to:
abuse@rendarasystems.com
We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and investigate all reports.
8. Enforcement
Rendara uses a graduated enforcement approach to address violations:
- Warning: Initial notification of policy violation
- Suspension: Temporary loss of access to the Service
- Termination: Permanent account closure
- Law Enforcement Referral: For serious criminal violations
Automatic blocking: HIGH/CRITICAL severity threats are blocked automatically at generation time. All flagged requests are logged without storing the input text.
9. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Immediate blocking of specific requests
- Warning notification via email
- Temporary or permanent suspension of account access
- Termination of all active API deployments
- Permanent account termination without refund of any prepaid fees
- Deletion of associated data after a 30-day export window
- Law enforcement referral where legally required
10. Changes to This Policy
Rendara reserves the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
